ASTS – Austrian Scale Team Series 2022 Round 4

The last, Round 4 of the ASTS – Austrian Scale Team Series 2022 competition was held in Retz, Austria this weekend. PROCRAWLER® Factory Driver, Lukas Klapfer from Austria, told us about this comp.

The location

The competition area was basically a Trial Motorcycle Club and Area with a lot of nature rock formations aswell as rough rock terain and woods. The food, camping, and showering were possible on the location, and electrical supplies were also provided.

The Courses

Lukas said that the courses are always tough and very different every spot you choose for the courses. This year was a very hard one in the rough rock section which also was impossible to clear every gate clean for the best drivers.

The Class 1 and Class 2 is driving in teams of 3-4 drivers and have to help each other to conquer the course with ropes, sandladders and so on. It’s more like a adventure or safari but gate penalty’s and time is still important.

PROCRAWLER® drivers started in Class 3, which is more like a traditional crawler comp close to the International Pscale rigs and rules but still a little different. Class 3 is allowed to use a winch or a flexible rope to clear the hard hillclimbs or the rescue the car from stuck.

About the Series

Round 4 was the last event of the ASTS – Austrian Scale Team Series this year. The series usually starts in May and ends in October. Best way to follow the event is on Facebook where the dates and even information links will be postet weeks before the event, but it is also possible to register on the spot.

The first competition season of Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary ended with the Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 7. We have an amazing year behind us! We can safely say that the Hungarian scale crawler field has developed brutally in the last 2 years, and Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary played an important role in this.

It’s been a fantastic year, let’s celebrate the championship podium finishers and the personal development of each competitor in 2022!

Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 7 was the last competition of the 2022 season in Csór, in the shadow of the Japanese Torii Gate, on the usual killer rocks on variable dry and humid surfaces.

A very close competition developed between the first 5 places, 1-1 points decided the places again.

With the Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 6 we returned to Kőfejtő in Budaörs, where the course setters managed to create three excellent and varied courses.

The Courses

The Hungarian scale crawler field has developed amazingly in terms of driving techniques, and in terms of the performance of the rigs as well, as evidenced by the closest final result so far: with the same score in all three places on the podium and in the 5th and 6th places, the final positions were decided by the time results.

The Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 5 was organized in view of the hot summer days on the direct waterfront of the Nagy Duna Sor, in the cool shade of the coastal trees, and how well it was done.

The Linekillaz Compz™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 4 took place successfully on 3 courses, in scorching heat, with the possibility of minimal shade.

The Courses

The decision to switch the rounds to the minimum 3 courses competition order brought the expected result. Thus, in contrast to the previous comp, the more and, thanks to the location, harder than usual courses spread out the field more. They were able to complete a fast-paced, hard and exciting competition.

ISRCC™ FR 2022 the very first ISRCC™ FR Official event is in the books for now. This was the second stop in ISRCC™ International Scale Rock Crawler Championship. The next one, the ISRCC™ UK, will take place in Scotland on 27-28 August.

The Courses

The Event Manager of ISRCC™ FR Season 2022 was Aymeric Margnat. The recognition is not just his, his whole team has put a lot of effort into this competition event. The event was in a good mood and 22 drivers attended it.

The ISRCC™ Ruleset is proudly based on the actual WRCCA Performance Scale rules with minor modifications belonging to the scope of localization.

Prizes

On ISRCC™ Comp the top 3 drivers will be rewarded by high-value sponsor products depending on their ranking position.

Besides rewarding the top 3 podiumists also 1000+ EUR value of sponsor products are offered to raffle on ISRCC™ Comps. All registration fees include 1 raffle ticket and drivers can add unlimited number of additional raffle tickets on the registration form.

By now, it is clear that the Hungarian scale rock crawler field has strengthened tremendously over the past 2-3 years, and hopefully that Linekillaz Compz ™ Hungary will also strengthen this effect.

The Courses

The Linekillaz Compz ™ Hungary Season 2022 Round 3 took place at 35 degrees, but in the cooling shade of the huge trees on the banks of the Danube. The race brought very strong tracks and amazingly close results, with the rankings going 1-1 and in two cases the better time.

ISRCC™ ES 2022 the very first ISRCC™ ES Official event is in the books for now. The two-day event took place in Madrid, Spain, on May 14-15.

The Courses

The Event Manager of ISRCC™ ES Season 2022 was Julian Ponzano and Javier Barahona also put a lot of effort into this competition event. The next stop in the ISRCC™ Comp will be in France on June 26th.

About the ISRCC™ Comp

ISRCC™ 2022 is the official competition event of ISRCC™ International Scale Rock Crawler Championship founded by IRCCF® (International Radio Controlled Rock Crawler Competitors Federation) with 10 gates and a maximum time limit of 10 minutes per course. Number of courses per day yet to be determined depending on the total number of registered comp drivers.

ISRCC™ is a global performance-driven scale rock crawler competition event format and aimed to provide premium quality annual competitions worldwide for all the drivers who keep challenging the limits of their scale rock crawlers and driver skills.
