EuroCrawl On Rocks Again In 2022
EuroCrawl, the ultimate European Championship of WRCCA rock crawler classes was organized last time in 2019 in Retz, Austria and the event was a huge success. In 2021 the next EuroCrawl event was announced to be held in Reposaari, Finland but as many other events in that year had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 related reasons.
In 2022 Samu Sarka and his Team took a breath and announced the event to be held from Aug 18 to Aug 21 at the originally planned location, in Reposaari, Finland. Alltogether 52 competition drivers from a lot of european countries arrived to show their rock crawling skills in all WRCCA classes, Pro, Performance Scale, Sportsman, Mini and Super.
The Location
The rocks of the Siikaranta Camping in Reposaari are simply amazing, they are the perfect spot for a WRCCA rock crawler get together. The rocks along the shore gave the chance to design exciting and tricky courses for all classes.
Mini Class
The official program of EuroCrawl 2022 started on Aug 19, Friday morning with the competition of the Mini class. The rocks were partially wet after the morning showers so it was a real challenge to progress on the courses.

Sportsman Class
On the very last competition day of EuroCrawl 2022 it was the time of Sportman class drivers. The start of program was delayed 2 hours due to the heavy rain, weather forecast totally nailed it.
The runs were continuously paused for the time of extreme raining that confused both rigs and drivers: electronics and transmitters got mad and drivers were totally wet. A huge shoutout for all Sportsman class drivers who finally managed to finish their courses.
